In the early hours of Sunday morning, gunman Omar Mateen opened fire on patrons of Pulse — a gay nightclub in Orlando. “This was an act of terror and hate and we will not give into fear,” said President Barack Obama in the aftermath of the attack, condemning the shooting at the nightclub.
