A group of climbers faced a harrowing escape as Indonesia’s Mount Dukono erupted, sending massive plumes of ash into the sky. The Dukono volcano situated on Halmahera island, Indonesia released a massive cloud of ash 8,000 ft into the air. This happened when the climbers were trying to scale the volcano in spite of several warnings against it. As soon as the volcano erupted, the climbers scrambled down the mountain slope to save their lives. All the climbers who were there for a weekend retreat were reportedly safe. This hair-raising incident was captured by a drone pilot.
