Shoot some hoops with another awesome Google doodle!

Most of us are not be participating in the Olympics but there’s no denying that we’re busy Facebooking, Tweeting, and watching all the action. And now Google has made the Olympics a lot more fun with its super-cool, interactive doodles for users. Today’s Google doodle is a basket-ball game, where users have to hit the space bar key to make the player jump and put the ball in the basket. It’s pretty darned addictive and the perfect way to destroy your space bar. Players have just under 24 seconds to put in as many balls as they can in the net. The sneaky part of the game: You’ll notice that player will suddenly move further away from net and it will get harder to win points. The trick is to hit the space bar when the ball turns red. Still its pretty neat and an awesome way to kill time.  Oh and you can share the final score on Google plus. [caption id=“attachment_410082” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/GoogleDoodle_Screengrab_Basketball.jpg "GoogleDoodle_Screengrab_Basketball") Screengrab of today’s Google doodle.[/caption] The basketball game comes on the back of yesterday's doodle which featured a hurdles race, where users had to use the space bar to jump over and the right and left keys to make the player move. You can play this doodle here. Google has been particularly impressive during the Olympics. Besides its interactive doodles, its proving just what a treasure trove of  comprehensive and easily accessible information it is. Case in point: if users type ‘Badminton’ for example, they will immediately get the complete Olympics schedule on the right hand-side and information about the particular sport itself. Pretty darn impressive. There’s no denying that Google has made the Olympics games fun and a little more lively for the rest of us. By the way, Google Doodle is already trending on Twitter as a hash-tag with people busy posting their scores on Twitter. Oh and here’s a cute tweet on Google’s various doodles https://twitter.com/FamilyGuy_/status/232918709910532096
