After selling millions of smartphone in 2017 in India, Xiaomi is bringing a new series of smartphone to the Indian market. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has sent an invite for a new series of smartphone to be launched in India on 2 November.
Earlier reports speculated that Xiaomi is planning to bring a smartphone with a flash on the front side of the phone for the selfie camera. This might be a move to compete with other brands that already come with selfie camera and front flash. The report also mentioned that few of the invites had a hashtag of #YourBestSelfie gives more reason to expect a selfie camera with flash.
Xiaomi is also expected to roll out the stable version of the MIUI 9 Global ROM in the Indian market. The company in a tweet on 27 October mentioned that "Global MIUI 9 is coming to India on 2nd Nov. Are You excited? #LightningFast".

The update is expected to come to all the devices. The company is testing out beta version of MIUI 9 on various devices including Mi Note, Mi 4, Mi 3, Mi 2/2S, Mi Pad 3, Mi Pad 2, Mi Pad 1, Redmi Pro, Redmi Note 4X MTK, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi 4, Redmi 3S/3X, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note, Redmi 3, Redmi 2A, Redmi 2, Redmi 1S and Redmi 1.
MIUI 9 was launched in July 2017 with the launch of Mi 5X in China.
The specification of the smartphone are unknown and the only speculation at the moment is about the possibility of a selfie camera with a flash. The launch will be streamed live on Youtube channel of Xiaomi and can be watched with the link provided below.
