Xiaomi is planning to launch a new series of smartphones on 2 November. The company has started sending out press invites for an event in New Delhi. Some of the invites have the slogan #YourBestSelfie as reported by GSMArena indicating that the upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi is focusing on the front camera as its key feature.
The lightning symbol in the middle indicates that this phone is likely to pack a fast charging solution like Qualcomm's Quick Charge, which was introduced by Xiaomi, back in September with the launch of Mi Note 3. We received the invite for the launch event and it reads, "A new series is coming. Join Manu and Jai on 02.11.2017" which indicates that there is indeed a new series that Xiaomi is planning to launch in India.
Xiaomi has claimed on its MIUI site that the new series will include something that we have been impatiently waiting for. The company will release more teasers for the upcoming launch on a daily basis.
This announcement comes weeks after the company launched the much anticipated Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 at a launch event in New Delhi. Xiaomi has priced the Mi Mix 2 at Rs 35,999 for the 128 GB internal storage along with 6 GB RAM. The device will be available in the first week of November both on online and offline channels.
