Android Oreo (8.0), the latest Android update, which had arrived in Google Pixel and a few other devices, seems to be not so sweet to some of the new users. According to a Reddit thread , few Redditors are facing problems with their Android 8.0 alarm clock app, which, according to them, is not going off. The Redditors have complained that the update seems to have crippled their alarm app. One such Redditor said that if the alarm clock is set to half an hour ahead, the alarm goes off. However, if it is scheduled more than half an hour later, it does not go off. Instead it notifies that the alarm was missed. Thus, a few of them have been complaining of reaching late for work. Though we do wonder at the boss who would accept such an excuse. Android Oreo 8.0, was released on 21 August alongside the solar eclipse. It has been rolling out in Google’s Pixel and Nexus smartphones.
