Taking design cues from the Oppo N1 and the Gionee Elife E7 mini, Smart Namo has announced the Saffron Wave with a rotating camera. The company has given sneak peek into the device through its Facebook page. The Saffron Wave has been priced at Rs 12,999.
The Saffron Wave will be powered by a 1.3GHz MT6582 quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM. From the looks of it, the device follows the earlier efforts from the company and also sports a 5-inch display. It could most probably feature a 720p or lower display, based on the price.
The device offers 16/32/64GB storage options, but there is no word on microSD card slot support. Apart from these features and pricing, no other detail about the device are known yet. It is the third phone after the two versions of Smart Namo Saffron were launched last year. Needless to say, the SmartNamo brand is launched by fans of BJP Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat CM Narendra Modi.
It should be noted that Oppo N1 with 13MP rotating camera entered the Indian market lately for Rs 39,999. Its specs include a 5.9-inch 1080p IPS display, a quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of internal memory and a massive 3610mAh battery.
