Samsung Galaxy A8s to launch in China today at 1.30 pm: Here's how to watch it live

**Samsung** will launch the **Galaxy A8s** featuring an in-display selfie camera or the **Infinity-O display** today, on 10 December in China. The device is expected to be the first to sport the Infinity-O Display, beating Huawei which plans to launch its in-display selfie camera sporting Nova 4 on 17 December. Here’s how you can watch the event live: The live stream for the launch of the device will start at 4 pm in China, which is 1.30 pm IST, and it can be watched on the official Samsung China website and the Galaxy Club website. Image: Samsung China[/caption] Samsung took to its  Weibo account to publish a poster of the launch, also revealing the overall design of the phone. The poster also resembles Huawei Nova 4 poster so Samsung is definitely not being subtle about its jab at Huawei here. As per  a report by GSMArena, the displays on both the Nova 4 and the Galaxy A8s are LCD units made by BOE, but the one used by Samsung on the A8s is the more premium of the two. In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A8s is expected to feature a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixel and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Similar to the  **Oppo R17 Pro which launched in India** , the phone is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with up to 6 GB of RAM. The front camera which sits inside the display will likely be a 24 MP unit while the rear features a triple-camera setup similar to the one seen on the Galaxy A7 this year.
