According to the company, this new feature is especially helpful for its users in situations where they don’t know how to express themselves. Apart from allowing users to express themselves, the feature is also designed to allow users an easy escape from awkward situations.

Tinder pointed out female employees working at the company have developed ‘reactions’ ‘as a fun new way to communicate’. The company teamed up with actress and comedian Whitney Cummings to lead her voice for some of the reactions. The company is rolling out six reactions in total ranging from ‘Hearts’, ‘Laughs’, ‘Round of Applause’, ‘Really...?!’, ‘The eye roll’, to ‘The ball’s in your court’.
