The
Moto G6 Plus
started receiving its stable Android Pie update just yesterday and today Motorola has even started pushing out the update to the Moto Z3. The arrival of Pie for the Moto Z3 was spotted on the support website
, which also gave out the details of what’s in store for the Moto Z3
in the new update. Android Pie improvements such as Adaptive Brightness, Adaptive Battery, gesture navigation, improved volume controls, a rotation key in the navigation bar, and a screenshot button in the power menu has made its way to the firmware update. 5G Moto Mod
. Motorola had earlier also said that the mod, which is mentioned to pack in a 2,000 mAh battery, might launch in early 2019 on Verizon’s network
as per
Android Authority. Motorola had launched the Moto G6
and G6 Play
in India last year with Android 8.0 Oreo. As per a report
by XDA Developers, the Moto G6 is set to undergo an Android Pie soak test in Brazil. A user on the Telegram group for Moto G6 has posted an image which claims that there is some update available for a select number of devices. [caption id=“attachment_4494011” align=“alignnone” width=“1280”]

It also talks about carrying the update to the Android security patch of January 2019. For some reason though, the changelog doesn’t mention Android 9 Pie. Google Pay also does not seem to work with this update. The report also mentions that Motorola has made some changes related to future security updates on the device, but it fails to give out the exact details on changes. There was also an alleged Android 9 Pie soak test that was spotted earlier, but it was just the Android 8.1 Oreo-based update.
