Microsoft is likely to launch its ‘Surface Pro with LTE’ with Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 LTE on 1st December. The company had unveiled its new tablet-laptop hybrid, the Surface Pro back in May 2017, mentioning that they would be launched before the end of the year.
As per a new report by The Verge, the Microsoft ‘Surface Pro with LTE’ Advanced comes with an Intel Core i5 processor. The Qualcomm chipset supports 20 LTE bands, which would ensure connectivity across countries.
In terms of specifications, the base variant of the ‘Surface Pro with LTE’ model comes with 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB SSD for storage at $1,149. The other variant comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD storage at the price of $1,449.
However, everyone may not be able to get their hands on the ‘Surface Pro with LTE’ model on 1 December itself. The report adds that Microsoft is aiming at businesses with the ‘Surface Pro with LTE’, mentioning that the new Surface Pro will be available to business customers first. The announcement was made at the Future Decoded event in London, which is aimed at businesses.
