Lenovo had made a comeback into the Indian smartphone segment by lauding two new smartphones which belonged to the budget Android smartphone space. The Lenovo K9 was priced at Rs 8,999 and Lenovo A5 was launched at Rs 5,999 for the base variant with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage.
Recent reports now state that the company is planning to launch the successor of A5 which is said to be branded as Lenovo A5s.
As per 91mobiles the phone, Lenovo A5s has been certified by Bluetooth SIG and Indonesia’s TKDN body.
There are press renders as well as specs which have surfaced online.
The press render suggests that the A5s will come with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone shows thinner bezels on the sides with the bottom and top being chubbier.
The power and volume buttons are placed on the right.
There is no leaked image of the back of the smartphone just yet.
As for the specs the report states the phone to sport a resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels and will be equipped with 2 GB of RAM and a PowerVR GE8300 GPU.
The phone is expected to be packed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and is said to run on Android 9 Pie.
There is no official details on the launch of the smartphone just yet.
