Huawei sends out invites for the 27 March launch of its triple camera P-series phones

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has sent media invites for the global launch of its first flagship smartphone of 2018. [caption id=“attachment_4246519” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Huawei. The three rings are an indication of the rumoured triple camera setup which is expected to appear aligned vertically on the upcoming smartphones. While the first two cameras will likely work with Huawei’s neural processing unit, the third is supposed to be a camera with a 5x zoom lens. The focus on the camera and AI has been confirmed by the tagline that follows below the three rings. It says, ‘See Mooore with AI’. Earlier reports indicated that the **P20** and P11 would be launched, but more recent reports suggest that three variants of the P20 will arrive. These could be the Huawei P20, P20 Plus and P20 Lite. Of course, there’s still no official confirmation on the name of the phone. [caption id=“attachment_4341475” align=“alignnone” width=“825”] ![Huawei invite. The hardware is also expected to include a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC and an 18:9 display. It was expected that the phone would be released in Mobile World Congress 2018. However, now it seems there is a delay in the launch of Huawei’s first flagship of 2018.
