Huawei is rolling out its latest custom OS — EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie 9 to its
Huawei P20 Pro
and Nova 3
smartphones. The new update introduces all few new Android 9 Pie features and some news ones from Huawei, including full-screen gestures and a new UI. The new software features will arrive to the two devices via an over the air (OTA) firmware update. Huawei claims that the performance of the update to be 12.9 percent faster than its predecessor and it also launches apps at a quicker rate. Image: Huawei Global[/caption] EMUI 9.0 comes packed with features such as consolidated menus, unified design language, new gesture-based navigation, GPU Turbo 2.0, on-device AI, HiVision visual search, Password Vault, Digital Balance dashboard, multiple backup options, one-handed controls, and improved Huawei Share features. The update aims to cater to the India audience by supporting up to 22 Indian languages, customised Indian calendar and with apps like Paytm.
