Amazon India has announced the dates for the 2019’s first Great Indian sale, which will be held on 20 January and continue till 23 January. Similar to the previous sales, the company will offer fair deals and discounts on a wide range of products including consumer electronics.
Prime members will get 12-hours early access to the best deals on 19 January. Amazon has partnered with HDFC bank to offer 10 percent instant discount for its debit and credit card users. There is no-cost EMI as well applicable on HDFC debit/credit card and Bajaj Finserv EMI cards.
The four-day sale will see discounts and exchange offers on smartphones from some of the popular brands including Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Honor, among others. While the Great Indian sale is still two days away, Amazon has provided a preview of some of the products that will get price cuts during the sale.
Amazon has also listed the flagship phone, LG V40 ThinQ, which is set to debut in India on 19 January. Per the website, the phone bags exchange offer of Rs 5,000, 12 months no cost EMI and free screen replacement. Meanwhile, Prime member will be able to grab cashback of Rs 1,000 on the purchase of the handset during the sale period.
Additionally, the dual camera smartphones Oppo R17, Realme U1 and Vivo V9 Pro’s price will get discounted as well. Besides smartphones, Amazon will provide up to 60 percent off on external hard drives and up to 50 per cent off on Bluetooth speakers.
While Amazon is all set on its wheels for its first sale for the year, its rival Flipkart will also run a three-day sale at the same time. The Flipkart Republic Day sale will take place between 20 January and 22 January. During the sale period, Flipkart will offer discount and up to 70 percent cashback value on budget and premium smartphones. Realme 2 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S8, Realme 2 Pro are some of the devices that will get a discount offer during the Flipkart sale.
