Earlier in the day the tech blog AllThingsD reported that the possibility of a reconciliation of the pair is unclear, since Brin has become romantically involved with a Google employee, according to sources. The same website also reported that company’s Vice President of product management for Android, Hugo Barr, who has also been a very public face for Google was leaving for Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. It seems that Barra’s resignation is not linked to the fact that his ex-girlfriend is now dating Brin.
