Google co-founder Sergey Brin's affair at office blamed for split with wife

There’s new gossip in the tech world and this one is centered around Google co-founder Sergey Brin. Sergey Brin and his wife Anne Wojcicki, who married in 2007, have been living apart for several months, the couple’s spokesperson said. Earlier in the day the tech blog AllThingsD reported that the possibility of a reconciliation of the pair is unclear, since Brin has become romantically involved with a Google employee, according to sources. The same website also reported that company’s Vice President of product management for Android, Hugo Barr, who has also been a very public face for Google was leaving for Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. AFP[/caption] The report on AllThingsD said, " Barra recently tendered his resignation, but that it came before a recent thorny personal situation related to the end of a romantic relationship he had with another Googler," who is now seeing Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin. It seems that Barra’s resignation is not linked to the fact that his ex-girlfriend is now dating Brin. This particular Google employee that Brin is believed to be dating is Google Glass’ marketing manager Amanda Rosenberg. According to ValleyWag Rosenberg is an avid user of Google Plus but almost all mentions of Barra have been removed from her account. Rosenberg is also much younger than Brin, she’s 26 while he’s 40. Also she had quite an important role to play in coining the phrase ‘Ok Glass.’ As far as Silicon Valley is concerned, the gossip around why Sergey Brin’s marriage collapsed is the juiciest for the year.
