A Cloudflare outage on Tuesday caused many websites like X, ChatGPT, and Canva to go dark.
In a brief statement, Cloudflare said that it was aware of the problem and was working on it.
“Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which impacts multiple customers: Widespread 500 errors, Cloudflare Dashboard and API also failing. We are working to understand the full impact and mitigate this problem. More updates to follow shortly,” the company said in a statement.
Cloudflare is an American company that provides digital infrastructure services that allow many websites to run across the world. Any disruption would therefore mean entire websites going dark.
The Cloudflare outage began at around 11:15 pm in the United Kingdom, according to The Independent.
This is a developing story.
