As Diwali is approaching, the export numbers of iPhone series are climbing up the ladder. This time all iPhone models including Pro, Pro Max and Air were all rolled out of Indian stores booming the global market.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh in his X post said, “India’s iPhone exports have risen from $1.7 billion in 2023 to $10 billion in 2025, a nearly sixfold increase in just two years. Over 80% of India’s iPhone output now powers global markets. Driven by Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary leadership, Make in India and a sharp focus on Ease of Doing Business, India is emerging as a trusted global manufacturing hub. This marks a new era of capability and global impact. India is not just making for itself, India is making for the world.”

Companies are advised and bound to report their production which they did to the government on a regular basis as part of the smartphone production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme. As any production increases it gives rise to higher exports which has been consistent this year.

More factories generate jobs and give employment facilities. India became the fourth largest economy, with skilled labour force and tech savvies. With the expansion of Apple’s manufacturing network in India, the company is reducing its reliance on other export countries like China which is in an intense trade war with the US.
