In an address during the 42nd session of the UNHRC on Tuesday, India asserted that the revocation of Jammu and Kashmir's special status was its sovereign decision and it cannot accept any interference in the country's internal affairs

The MEA said that the decisions on Jammu and Kashmir were internal to India and asserted, 'No country can accept interference in its internal affairs, certainly not India.'

President Ram Nath Kovind departed for an official seven-day visit to the African countries of Benin, The Gambia and Guinea.
