•A fourteen-year-old boy apprehended on suspicion of theft was allegedly tortured in police custody, said police on Saturday. Based on the medical reports of the boy, the Senior Superintendent of Police Kalanidhi Naithani had suspended three personnels from Telibagh police station. 'The police officials were also asking me to accept that the e-rickshaw was stolen by me, since I denied accepting the same, I was beaten', said the victim.

•The security in and around the Jammu Railway Station was strengthened ahead of the commencement of annual Amarnath Yatra.
