India-Pakistan air strikes: Drug exporters wary of tension between two countries, apprehensive about future
The Indian pharmaceutical companies exports over $140 million to Pakistan with 50 percent active pharmaceutical ingredients.

While India's pharma exports grew from $11.66 billion to $12.54 billion in 2015, recording a growth of 7.55 percent, China's exports rose by 5.3 percent to $6.94 billion
According to official sources, the group has been formed with an aim to institutionalise a standard mechanism for consultation between government and industry to improve India's share in international pharma exports.
