The Pakistani army tonight violated ceasefire by resorting to firing on Indian posts along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistani Army on Sunday again violated ceasefire by firing from automatic weapons and shelling mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
The border tension between India and Pakistan is refusing to de-escalate as soldiers continue to trade fire across the de-facto borders in Jammu and Kashmir. On Tuesday, Pakistani troops allegedly resorted to unprovoked firing on the Line of Control (LoC) killing one more Indian army soldier in Naushera sector of Rajouri district, Kashmir. 11 Indian soldiers have been killed on the borders since India's surgical strikes on 29 September.
An uneasy calm prevailed on the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB) in Jammu on Wednesday, a day after eight civilians were killed and 24 injured in Pakistan targeting of civilian facilities.
