Loving Vincent trailer: This tribute to van Gogh is world's first fully oil-painted feature film

The 65,000 frames of Loving Vincent are the outcome of oil paintings made by around 125 painters from all over the world, who contributed to making Vincent van Gogh come to life through the film.

Oscar-winning studio Breakthru Films is working on the world’s first feature-length animated film called Loving Vincent, made entirely through hand-painted canvasses, and it gives a peak into the mind of the 19th century Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh.
