Maneka Gandhi opposes Army's animal sacrifice practices

Maneka Gandhi the Union Minister for Women and Child Development and avid animal rights activist has declared the Indian army’s traditions of “animal sacrifice” and "airdropping live animals" as acts of animal cruelty.

It's the first time in years that the prices are so high and have nearly doubled from that of 2012. This means buying a sacrificial animal remains nothing but a dream for the salaried and middle class.
