EVM transfer allegations: EC refutes Opposition claim that voting machines being moved around unprotected before counting dayThe Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday dismissed claims by Opposition parties that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are being moved around unprotected ahead of the counting of votes for the ongoing Lok Sabha election 2019 on 23 May. It also rejected allegations of discrepancies at the strong rooms where the EVMs have been kept prior to the announcement of the results on Thursday.
