BJP MP Murli Manohar Joshi will adopt a village outside his constituency Kanpur as not a single village here fulfilled the criteria for adoption.

Jayaprakash Narayan plans to contest Lok Sabha poll

Hyderabad, March 20 (IANS) Loksatta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan plans to contest for Lok Sabha from Malakjgiri constituency here. He told reporters Thursday that he has received several requests from people from all walks of life, well-wishers and even major political parties to fight Lok Sabha elections. Jayaprakash was elected to Andhra Pradesh assembly in 2009 from Kukatpally constituency, one of the seven assembly segments of Malkajgiri.

LS polls: MPs need to be more accountable to their constituency

Marked on a scale of 10, most of the VIP MPs scored poorly. Sonia Gandhi scored a 6.33 amd Rahul Gandhi scored 5.58. Sachin Pilot was one of the only MPs who scored well with 8. Surprisingly Sushma Swaraj, who is known for her good work in Vidisha scored only 3.52.
