iOS 8.4 hits the 40 percent mark in just a week after release: Report

It's been barely a week and Apple's latest iOS 8.4 has already captured 40 percent of the market. A report by Mixpanel offers data as to how in a matter of a week, OS 8.4 usage now makes up more than 40% of all iOS device usage. It started at roughly 3.5 percent and later, the update jumped to 12.2 percent the next day and 32.8 percent on July 5, eventually to 41.2 percent on July 8.
