The Philadelphia Eagles claimed their second Super Bowl title with a dominant 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX , held in New Orleans on Sunday. After avenging their Super Bowl LVII defeat, the Eagles were jubilant not just for the title but also for the financial rewards that come with winning the NFL’s championship game.

Super Bowl LIX: How much prize money did the winners get?

The winning team’s players receive a championship bonus as part of the NFL’s structured postseason payout system. This year, each player on the Philadelphia Eagles roster will earn $171,000 (Rs. 1.4 crore) for their triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The total amount of money players receive doesn’t stop at the Super Bowl bonus. The NFL’s postseason payout structure also includes additional bonuses based on a team’s playoff performance leading up to the championship game. By the time they lift the Lombardi Trophy, an Eagles player could have accumulated up to $350,000 (Rs. 3 crore) in bonuses depending on how far their team advanced.

So, while the Philadelphia Eagles’ players are enjoying their second Super Bowl win from last night, they’ll also be taking home some seriously hefty bonuses to match their championship performance.

Jake Elliot and Jalen Hurts were the top performers for the Eagles, who helped them clinch the 2025 title. It was sweet revenge for Nick Sirianni’s team who had suffered an agonising Super Bowl defeat to the Chiefs two years ago in Arizona.
