Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher broke the internet recently after he was reported to have attended his daughter's wedding in Mallorca, Spain on Saturday, 28 September.
The development made the entire world, and not just passionate F1 and motorsport fans, sit up and take notice, for Schumacher was making his first public appearance in 11 years, since he met with a skiing accident that left him with a near-fatal brain injury.

Schumacher had been living a secluded life at his residence in Gland, Switzerland since the accident, with his wife Corinna and children fiercely protective of his privacy and allowing only a handful of medical practitioners access to the legendary racer.
However, the former Ferrari driver’s reported appearance at daughter Gina-Maria’s marriage to boyfriend Iain Bethke at the Schumacher family’s sprawling villa on the Spanish island was a sign that the family was perhaps relaxing the secrecy surrounding Michael and his health.

And according to reports, the seven-time F1 world champion might just have another public appearance down the road after appearing at his 27-year-old daughter’s wedding.
His son Mick, a Formula 1 racer like his father who is a reserve driver for Mercedes, is reportedly engaged to Laila Hasanovic.

And it is widely speculated that Michael could turn up for his son’s wedding as well after making a rare public appearance for his daughter’s big day recently.
The Schumacher family, however, is yet to confirm if and when the 25-year-old racer will be exchanging wedding vows.
Schumacher’s accident had taken place a year after his second retirement from Formula 1. The 55-year-old held the record for most championships (7) and individual race wins (91) along with most pole positions (68).
Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, however, would overtake him on race wins and poles and equalled the German’s record of seven titles after winning the 2020 season.
