IPL: At least four Chennai Super Kings players are involved in fixing, claims Lalit Modi

Former Indian Premier League commissioner Lalit Modi claims that four Chennai Super Kings players are involved in match-fixing. Modi, who is known to make explosive remarks on Twitter — called the revelation his ‘breaking story’. [caption id=“attachment_1510615” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]  Lalit Modi. Reuters[/caption] He said that if the Supreme Court were to reveal the names of the players involved in fixing, they would consist of ‘at least’ four CSK players.

Modi criticised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) after news of the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) probe into betting syndicates broke recently. He also said that the BCCI, the International Cricket Council (ICC), India Cements and BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur were ’trying to hoodwink’ the public when it came to illegal betting quantum.
