Kohli had forged a 67-run stand with KL Rahul for the fourth wicket. He came into match on the back of a fine run of form, having scored 711 runs from 10 matches prior to this game, including three centuries and six fifties.
At the time of writing this report, India were 158/4 after 31 overs, with KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja in the middle. Netizens were disappointed by the way Kohli got out, with some of them even losing hopes of India possibly lifting the World Cup trophy. Here are a few reactions:
