The total prize fund has been set at $2.5 million (Which is approximately Rs 20.8 crore). For each game player wins, they get $2,00,000 (Approximately Rs 1.67 crore). The prize money that remains is divided equally between the two players. Should the match go to tie-breaks, the winner gets a prize money of $1.3 million (Rs 10.83 crore), whereas the runner-up will be awarded $1.2 million (Rs 10 crore).
Should the match end with a score of 7.5-6.5 points after 13 games, or 8-6 after 14 games, the same prize money is given to the winners and runners-up.
