As if dropping more points wasn’t enough of a blow, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and striker Mohamed Salah appeared to have a heated exchange at West Ham United on Saturday. While Klopp tried to play down the alleged spat, Salah claimed there would be a “fire” if he spoke about it following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw.
The Reds were desperate to bounce back after a painful midweek defeat to Merseyside rivals Everton. In a bid to jolt his weary team to form, Klopp dropped a misfiring Salah to the bench.
With Premier League title chances fading, Liverpool recovered from going a goal down to take a 2-1 lead midway through the second half at the London Stadium.
It seems that the argument began when Salah avoided shaking hands with klopp.

It seems that the player did not like the decision of keeping him on the bench after his very poor performances lately.

But Michail Antonio effectively ended their faint Premier League title hopes when he headed an equaliser in the 77th minute - just as Salah looked ready to come on.
Salah had been waiting to be substituted before Antonio’s goal and was involved in an animated conversation with Klopp, appearing to be angry with his German manager.

It ended with fellow substitute Darwin Nunez forced to intervene as he pushed teammate Salah away before they entered the fray.
“We spoke about it in the dressing room and that is done for me,” said Klopp, in the final weeks of his Anfield reign.
Asked if Salah was OK with it, Klopp claimed: “That was my impression.”

However, when Salah walked past reporters and was asked to stop, he admitted: “There’s going to be a fire today if I speak.”
The 31-year-old Egyptian has struggled to hit top form since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, scoring just once in his past six matches.
The forward has been linked with a move away from Anfield at the end of the season, with Saudi clubs understood to be interested.
