World Chess Championship 2024 Game 12 LIVE Streaming: Buoyed by his comprehensive victory on Sunday, D Gukesh will be eyeing back-to-back wins in the FIDE World Chess Championship when he faces reigning champion Ding Liren in Game 12 on Monday . Indian Grandmaster Gukesh is currently leading the best-of-14-games series 6-5 after defeating Chinese GM Ding in his 29th move in Game 11, ending a streak of seven consecutive draws in the process.
A second consecutive victory will nearly seal the title in the 18-year-old’s favour as he will then be needing just one draw in the remaining two games to reach the 7.5-point mark – which confirms the winner of the competition.

If he wins, Gukesh will not only become the second Indian after Viswanathan Anand to be crowned world champion, he will also break Garry Kasparov’s record to become the youngest world champion in the history of the sport.
His victory in Singapore will also be an icing on the cake that has been a remarkable year for Indian chess, in which Gukesh had become the youngest champion in the history of the Candidates Tournament and had also played a starring role in India’s golden sweep in the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest.
