Chinese firm wins $16.9 million contract to print Nepal’s ₹1,000 banknotes

Chinese firm to design and print 430 million pieces of Nepal’s ₹1,000 banknotes. Nepal Rastra Bank issued a letter of intent to China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation. Total project cost set at $16.985 million.
