New Delhi: Dismissing the Railway Budget 2016-17 presented in the Lok Sabha on Thursday by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu as a “big zero”, the Trinamool Congress said there was “nothing new” in the document. Nothing new at all,” Trinamool chief national spokesperson Derek O’Brien said in a statement in New Delhi. Referring to Prabhu’s move to keep freight rates and passenger fares unchanged, O’Brien said they were increased earlier. “Zero plus zero equals zero,” he said. Trinamool congress’s founder-leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is herself a former railway minister. IANS
