Z security cover with 30 armed commandoes for Kejriwal post Delhi win

Delhi Police will provide Z category security cover, with at least 30 armed commandoes, to AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal after he is elected the leader of the legislative party, an officer said Tuesday. “He will be given Z category cover which includes Delhi Police armed commandos. They will be around 30 in number,” a Delhi Police officer told IANS. As per protocol, Delhi chief minister enjoys Z category cover due to threat perception and that the number of men on duty could go up. Kejriwal, who lives in Ghaziabad, is currently protected by 12 police personnel, including an escort vehicle of the UP Police. The Aam Aadmi Party is slated to win 67 seast in the 70-member Delhi assembly. Kejriwal has said he will take oath Saturday as the chief minister. IANS
