Woman raped, strangled to death in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar: A 58-year-old woman was allegedly raped and strangulated to death by unidentified miscreants here, police said on Thursday. The woman was living alone in a house of a person who was displaced during Muzaffarnagar riots last year at Kutba village, police said, adding, the incident took place on Wednesday. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the investigation in the case is on, they added. PTI
