Reuters[/caption] The driver, Shahnawaz, told ANI,“When I saw that the woman was pregnant I thought it would be difficult for me to take her to the hospital and I told them they should call for an ambulance. But they said the ambulance will take time and asked me to drop them to the hospital quickly.” The woman was heading to Safdarjung Hospital, but got stuck in traffic and was in pain. That is when Shahnawaz with the help of her friends set up a labour room right inside the cab. After Babli gave birth, Shahnawaz rushed her and the baby to the hospital and even helped put her on a stretcher and wheeled her into the emergency room. He told The Times of India, “The doctors asked if I was her husband. I narrated the entire incident after which they congratulated me. This was one of the happiest moment of my life.” The baby will now be named Uber in a ceremony that Shahnawaz will attend. “He was born in an Uber car, that is why we named him Uber,” Babli told ANI.
