Win for Tata Motors after 17 years: A timeline of West Bengal's Singur Nano project

In a victory for Tata Motors Ltd, the Nano makers has won against the West Bengal government with a tribunal in the state awarding the company Rs 776 crore, along with interest, in the Singur plant case. The announcement was made by the automobile company on Monday in a regulatory filing. In a statement, Tata Motors claimed that a three-member arbitral tribunal had ruled in favour of the company, in the proceedings of the Singur Plant row.
