New Delhi: Sahara chief Subrata Roy, sent to judicial custody till March 11 by the Supreme Court, ate a single roti with dal as he spent Tuesday night in the Tihar Jail. Roy has been lodged in barrack no. 4 along with two directors of his company - Ashok Roy Choudhary and Ravi Shankar Dubey. AFP.[/caption] Jail officials said Wednesday the three were heard talking till late in the night on the legal battle that lies ahead of them. Roy reached the jail around 8 p.m. Tuesday and was sent for medical examination as part of a normal procedure. The Supreme Court sent Roy and two others to judicial custody till they present a concrete proposal to return the balance of Rs.19,000 crore they collected from investors through optionally fully convertible debentures.
