Police reached to the spot and resorted to a lathi charge to disperse the party workers. Additional forces were also deployed on the spot to bring back normalcy. Assembly elections in Telangana will be held on November 30. Earlier on Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister and BRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao filed his nomination papers for both Gajwel and Kamareddy Assembly constituencies. This will be his third time in contesting from Gajwel - he won the 2014 and 2018 elections from this constituency. This is, however the first time he is contesting from Kamareddy. Rao will be contesting against Eatala Rajender in Gajwel, while Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy will be in fray at Kamareddy With inputs from agencies
