Watch: UP girl teaches eve-teaser a lesson, beats him up inside police station

At a time when eve-teasing is a serious concern in the country, it is about time girls take matters into their own hands.

And, that’s what this teenager from Uttar Pradesh did.

A video of a class 11 student from Pilbhit district beating up a boy who allegedly harassed her inside is being widely circulated on social networking sites.

The girl, Sanjana claimed that the boy used to pass lewd comments on girls while standing outside the Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, reported Mid-Day .

Angry over the eve-teasing, Sanjana blocked the bike of the guy Ankit Rajput with her bicycle and dragged him inside the Puranpur police station.

In the video she is seen beating up the boy with her shoe and making him touch her feet and asking him if he would repeat his offence to which Rajput responds by apologising. All this not only happens in the presence of a police-officer, but the video is also shot by another police-officer who, at the start of the video, is heard egging her on, saying ‘Chal beta, maar’ (Beat him)

Rajput was left off by the police as there was no complaint from the girl’s side., however JK Shahi, superintendent of police has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
