This short film tells the story of a Mumbai man left homeless after police authorities took over his land. Suryakumar Yadav was externed in 2002 and returned in 2015, to find a municipal cabin built upon his land in Chembur, an eastern suburb of Mumbai. He recounts how he was hounded on a regular basis, leading to his arrest and eventual exile. The film addresses the law of externment, which gives police the right to displace a person from a particular area and, as in this case, from property they own.
