Devotees across the world waited with a baited breathe to catch the first glimpse of Lord Ram idol at the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya. After the consecration ceremony, the idol was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, 22 January.

As the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya Ram Mandir was underway, choppers showered flower petals over the temple premises.

January 22 is going to a historic day in India as the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. PM Modi Monday led the rituals of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat was also present.
