VK Singh takes broom into his hands to support PM's cleanliness mission

Ghaziabad: Union Minister and MP from the constituency General (retd) VK Singh today took broom in his hands to support the ‘Swachh Bharat’ mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. The BJP leader participated in the cleanliness campaign at the Old Ghaziabad Railway Station. He later went to Hindon River bank along with several BJP workers to clear up the garbage there. Ghaziabad Mayor Telu Ram Kamboj and Municipal Commissioner SK Singh along with several officials of the Nagar Nigam also took part in the campaign by cleaning the Durga Bhabhi Chowk at Navyug Market. District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma garlanded photographs of Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri at Collectorate Meeting Hall and administered oath of ‘cleanliness and honesty’ to the staff. All councillors of the Nagar Nigam also conducted cleanliness drive in their respective wards along with residents and office bearers of various RWAs. PTI
