 "Viral Video: Delhi Police constable hit by SUV at Connaught Place, goes flying into air")
A shocking video of an on-duty constable of Delhi Police thrown in the air after being hit by an SUV at the national capital’s Connaught Place has surfaced. The video, which appeared to be sourced from the CCTV camera in the area, showed the police personnel standing in front of a traffic barricade beside a car when the SUV hit the car and then the cop, throwing him in the air. Due to the impact of the collision, the Delhi Police personnel was thrown several feet. The incident happened on the intervening night of October 24-25. At the time of the accident, there were not many cars on the road. Also, the SUV too was not at a very high speed.

The incident happened on the intervening night of 24th-25th October. Police detained the car driver and action was taken against him.

The driver of the SUV was arrested after a chase by other cops present on the spot. Meanwhile, the Delhi cop was admitted to a hospital after the accident where he was treated for his injuries and was later discharged. With inputs from agencies
