Uttar Pradesh: Minor raped by 22-year-old man in Muzaffarnagar, his sister makes video of incident

Muzaffarnagar: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 22-year-old man, whose sister made a video of the incident, police said on Monday. The incident took place on Sunday in the Civil Lines area. [caption id=“attachment_4190243” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Representational image. AFP[/caption] The girl has alleged that she was taken to a house by the man’s sister and raped. The accused also threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter, police said. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the girl. The man and his sister are at large. On Tuesday, a 15-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Chimayu village has been found to be four-month pregnant after she was allegedly raped by three youths, police said. The incident came into light after the victim complained of stomach ache, SHO, Charthawal Police Station, G C Sharma, said. “According to the complaint filed by the victim’s father, the accused gang-raped the minor few months back and threatened her to not tell the incident to anybody,” he said. Two of the accused have been arrested and a search is on to nab the third one, he said, adding the minor was sent for a medical examination.
