UPTET result 2018 declared: Candidates can visit upbasiceduboard.gov.in to check score

The result for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2018 has been declared and candidates can check their result on the official website — upbasiceduboard.gov.in. UPTET is a state-level exam conducted for the hiring of primary school teachers.

Media reports said that the results were announced late on Tuesday night, however, the link to view the results could not be generated on the website due to some technical snag. The Times of India reported that the results will be available on the website after 2.00 pm. The result can be viewed on the website until 7 January. According to reports, of the 1,101,645 candidates, 366,285 have qualified.

How to check your UPTET result:

— Visit the official website: upbasiceduboard.gov.in

— Click on the link that says "UPTET 2018 Result for Upper Primary and Primary Teachers"

— Enter your registration number, date of birth and security code

— Enter your credentials such as registration number, date of birth and security code correctly

— Click on submit

— Your result will be displayed

The admit cards for the UPTET 2018 exam were released on 20 October.

Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board had released the amended answer key for the exams, which were held on 18 November, to ensure greater transparency in the recruitment process. After clearing the TET, the candidates will have to appear for the basic teacher's training exam in January. The Uttar Pradesh Basic Training Exam (UP BTC) result is also expected to be declared on 10 December. The exam was held on 1 and 3 November.
