At a meeting held at his official residence, he also directed the formation of a high level committee under Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar to monitor the situation.

Not satisfied with the Uttar Pradesh government's action on dengue prevention, yesterday the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has summoned the state's chief secretary on 27 October.

The court has also asked him as to why action should not be taken against the state government as per the constitutional provisions as it could not discharge its duties in this matter.
